A Message from New Generation Nepal

Guided by our core spirit of “Inspiration, Innovation and Transformation,” New Generation Nepal (NGN) is a non-profit organization committed to contributing to sustainable community development through quality education, health, safe drinking water and sanitation, agriculture, infrastructure development, women’s empowerment, skills development, and the overall capacity building of children, youth and communities.

We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, every community deserves the opportunity to live a safe and dignified life, and sustainable development becomes meaningful when local communities are placed at the heart of the process. With this belief, we identify local needs and work in partnership with schools, communities, local governments, stakeholders, and national and international development partners to design and implement meaningful and sustainable projects.

Over the years, New Generation Nepal has supported and implemented a range of initiatives in schools and communities, including quality education enhancement, teacher capacity development, science laboratories and libraries, digital and life-skills learning, student support, water and sanitation, green and clean environments, first-aid training, child- and women-friendly initiatives, infrastructure development, and other community-focused programs. These initiatives have contributed to creating better learning environments, strengthening local capacity, and opening new opportunities for children and communities.

These achievements would not have been possible through the efforts of one organization alone. On behalf of New Generation Nepal, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporting organizations, national and international partners, local governments, elected representatives, schools, teachers, students, parents, community leaders, volunteers, and all other stakeholders who have supported and accompanied us throughout our journey.

We are particularly grateful to our valued donors and development partners whose financial, technical, institutional and moral support has enabled us to reach schools and communities where resources and opportunities remain limited. Their trust and partnership continue to inspire us to do more and reach further.

Yet, our journey is far from over.

Across many rural and underserved communities of Nepal, there are still significant needs in quality education, healthcare, safe drinking water and sanitation, access to technology, livelihood-oriented skills, safe learning environments for children, and equal opportunities for women and young people. We are committed to transforming these needs into opportunities through responsible, innovative and sustainable interventions.
